I am a senior lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Technology
at the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

I have a husband and three children, David (24) Suzanne (22) and James (18).
David has finished a university course and is now a youth worker for Halesowen Methodist Circuit.
Suzanne (who calls herself Suzi) is assistant editor for the web site Rock Pulse
and has passed a Media Studies degree at university.
James has just finished his "A" levels and is interested in Warhammer, Scouting, and archery.

We have a cat called Isabel (named after a narrow gauge engine which was built in 1897
and still runs on the
Amerton Railway near Stafford).

Isabel's favourite occupation!

I am the Awards Manager for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School of Computing.

My main area of research interest is in graphical programming languages and data visualisation.

I am currently doing some research to investigate how use of computers with data visualisation

could help surgeons decide how to treat an intra-articular fracture.

I am also on the committee for the UK AVS and Uniras Users Group (UAUUG).

I can be contacted on email:

telephone: +44-1902-321443 (but I am not often in the office so email is better)
