INTRODUCTION


This module has been produced as a distance-learning package. It is intended that the student should read through the notes provided and use the reading list and other History of Mathematics Links.

This assessment is allocated one sixth of the overall module marks. The assessment title formulated by the student should be submited to the tutor for aproval:
