The Geometry Machine

This machine generates 3D virtual reality geometrical images of vectors, lines and planes to aid students in understanding the geometrical interpretation of Linear Algebra. To get the most from this machine, use it to view a geometrical problem that you have already solved, eg finding the intersection point of three planes.
If you dont know anything about vector equations of lines or planes, you will not be able to use the machine but you can see some samples generated by the it.

You will need a VRML viewer or plugin such as live3D which comes with Netscape 3 and 4 in order to be able to see the virtual reality worlds generated by the machine. If you are not sure whether you have it, try viewing the samples before activating the machine.

Programming the Machine

Select the number of each of the following objects that you want displayed and then press the button to switch on the machine. When it is switched on the machine will ask you for the vector equations of each one.
How many planes do you want to see?
How many lines do you want to see?
How many vectors do you want to see?
How many points do you want to see?
