Left: A
newspaper clipping from New Orleans, Louisiana, dated June 10 , 1934 - the
clipping is a collage of Paramount Studio photos of Dorothy Dell that
accompanied her obituary. Right: photo originally from Paramount Studio.
Thanks to Barbara Dell Glass for permission to include these. She is currently working with Tony
Toran, who is writing a book on Russ Columbo, a crooner in the style of Bing
Crosby. Russ Columbo was Dorothy's one and only big romance. They are
collectively compiling her biography and have obtained video copies of the
other two films that Dorothy starred in, "Wharf Angel" &
"Shoot The Works". These
have never been seen since their initial theater run in 1934.
